Kubb Set

Pronounced KOOB. This North Germanic inspired, team-oriented, lawn game has origins often attributed to the Vikings.  Although its origins are unknown, the game is growing in popularity throughout the world.  Played on grass in a rectangular pitch measuring 16 ft. by 26 ft., this game is a competitive blend of tossing accuracy and strategy.  Baseline blocks are set up with a king in the middle.  Each team consisting of 1-6 players each knock their opponent’s blocks over using their own dowels.

Dowels are ALWAYS tossed underhand, end-over-end, with no helicopters allowed. To win, a team knocks all their opponent’s blocks over followed by the king.  While the king wins the game it can also lose it for your team, if it’s knocked over any time during play. Includes 10 Kubb Blocks, 1 King Kubb approximately 12 inches tall, Tossing Dowels, corner stakes and a bag.
